The 3rd Conference on Nanostructures (NS2010) will be held from 10 to 12 March 2010, covering topics related to the properties and applications of nanoscale structures. The conference is the third one in series, after the two successful conferences in 2006 and 2008. It is organized by the prestigious Sharif University of Technology, which is the highest rank technical university in Iran. The series of Conferences on Nanostructures have been the main gathering of the most active Iranian researchers and students in Nanotechnology, together with a large number of International participants. The active atmosphere of the conference is a reflection of the high enthusiasm of the talented Iranian students towards Nanotechnology. A number of distinguished scientists have been invited for the last two conferences.
NS2010 will be held in Kish island, south of Iran in the Persian Gulf. Kish is a peaceful island with unique attractions, and is a free zone requiring no entry visa for stays up to 14 days.
